Mid-West Association for Canadian Studies

The Mid-West Association for Canadian Studies (MWACS) is a regional organization supporting the study of Canada by scholars in midwestern North America.

The most recent biannual MWACS conference was held October 22-24, 2010, in Windsor, Ontario. The conference's theme was Building Bridges between Countries and Disciplines.

The next biannual MWACS conference will be held in Grand Forks, North Dakota, October 5-6, 2012. The conference theme is "Beyond the Border: Canada-US Relations, Past, Present, and Future."
